We finish our season with a beautiful brevet riding through the Irish Hills. Starting in Adrian we head through the Irish Hills to Albion. That is so nice we turn around and do it again. The Falling Watters Trail is one of the highlights we get to enjoy. An ACP certified Brevet. RUSA membership is required.
Great ride! Beautiful farm country and lake towns. Enjoyed the falling waters trail. Rained the last few hours but my partner and I were committed and in good spirits. Will plan to travel back to Michigan next year to ride with the Detroit Randonneurs again.
Thank you for the great ride!
I was happy to finish quickly, because it rained hard the last 90 minutes. I hope the others finished safely in that weather.
Thanks for organizing the ride. We had a great day on our first randonnuering ride.
Very good route. Mostly smoother roads, and not much traffic. Rain made things interesting, and we lost an hour waiting for the rain to hopefully end at Control Stop 5. Despite my cheap carbon handlebars breaking on the left side, still had a great time. Quinn, Ed, and I pushed extremely hard and had a 17mph average over the entire route. Good way to end the season.
